PTA Artists: Ava Montague, F. Keith Wahle, Elenya Stephani, Shakira Rae Adams


Ava Montague is new to both Cincinnati and Contemporary Dance Theater this year. Formerly a dance major at Interlochen Arts Academy, Ava has taken this year to explore further outside of her classical training and branch into new styles of dance such as contact improvisation, which she takes at the Contemporary Dance Theater. Having trained with companies such as Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet among others, Ava aspires to pursue dancing as a professional career.


F Keith Wahle Improv

F. Keith Wahle is a retired library paraprofessional and a widely published poet, who escapes the sedentary life of a writer once a week in Contact Improvisation Class at CDT. He has been taking Movement Improvisation Classes since 2001, when some of the other members of the current class were still infants.



ElenyaStephaniPTAElenya Stephani is a student at The School for Creative and Performing Arts, majoring in Creative Writing. For the last 12 years Elenya has found herself gracing the stage as a dancer and is very excited to have the opportunity to explore both dance & dramatic arts in her second PTA production. In February of 2015, Elenya performed two of her poems, “Again” and “Screams Within Alone Again” in the PTA show “One Way Road on a Two Way Street”. She has performed in SCPA’s The Nutcracker (2009-2014), The Hobbit, and James and the Giant Peach.
