PTA Artist: Derek Snow
DEREK SNOW has been an actor and director in the Cincinnati area for several years. He just finished a run of the critical favorite Darkest Night at the Gnarly Stump at Know Theatre of Cincinnati. He is currently on stage as Jim Mosten in Falcon Theatre’s production of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. He was also recently seen on stage at Falcon Theatre as Taylor in Prelude to a Kiss, Detective Hubbard in Dial M for Murder, Virgil Tibbs in their LCT-recognized adaptation of In The Heat of the Night, and as Lenny in the LCT Award-winning production of Duck Hunter Shoots Angel in 2013. He was a performer and collaborative writer in Performance Gallery’s Shirtzencockle and Other Bother at the 2015 and 2016 Cincy Fringe Festivals. He has recently been seen collaborating with Pones, Inc., QCQC and Queen City Flash. His short play, That Week Off/That Off-Week was recently accepted into the Short + Sweet Festival 2013-15 for ten-minute plays in Sydney, Australia and was performed there in January. Derek is a proud graduate of the School For Creative and Performing Arts and The University of Cincinnati. He has been a proud member of the greater Cincinnati arts community for almost 30 years, most recently seen as a resident actor at the Know Theatre of Cincinnati, Studio Theatre, Inc., and currently Performance Gallery for the last 12 years. After theater stints in North Carolina, Chicago, Minneapolis and New York, Derek is always excited to be back in front of his hometown audiences.
