Performance Description:

TitleWelcome to America: There’s Gotta Be Something Better Than This Crap… (Part 4)

Choreographer: Ms. Diana L. Ford

Featuring Dancers: Lauren Deaton, Asterlyn Smith, Eliza Kopczynska (Violinist), and Kimala Frazier.

Welcome to America: There’s Gotta Be Something Better Than This Crap… (Part 4) will have 4 main sections that illustrate how we currently live in a society filled with oppression, inequality, hate, blatant racism, and distrust of one another. Living in poverty is the new way of life for the masses. Then, prejudice, lies and propaganda are the norm as we slowly give away our freedom, bit by bit, to technology and the powers that be. This piece will also show our false sense of safety and security in a dominating world of fascism and the oligarchs. It will emphasize how important it is for people to wake up and see the truth, and stand up for the rights that we have left, before we have nothing left to save. For the only thing that truly divides human beings is us.
