PTA Artist: Daniela N Nenova, Erin Carr, and Solasta Theatre Lab
DANIELA N NENOVA, ERIN CARR, and SOLASTA THEATER LAB
Performance Description: барман – The Bar Play
Welcome to the Edge of the World, where the bartender is “one-of-a-kind” and the drinks do more than fog up the brain! As spirits are being poured into glasses, we connect with some of the regular patrons and have the opportunity to peek into someone’s brain, falling into the abyss of their deepest desires, fears, insecurities. Everyone has a story they keep untold for the rest of the world, shielding themselves and others. And what better way to collect them all than being a peculiar bartender at a peculiar pub? Do we judge or empathize? The choice is always ours.
Bio: DANIELA N NENOVA is humbled to have the opportunity to perform an excerpt of Solasta’s first original piece on the stage of CDT and share it with so many talented and inspiring artists! She is a native of Bulgaria, Europe, where she received a BFA in Theatre and Puppetry and later moved to Cincinnati to further expand her artistic horizon! She is a proud member of the Ensemble Theatre’s Professional Acting Apprentice Company 2015-2016 where you may have seen her in “Cinderella” and “4th Graders…”, with which she also appeared in Fringe. She continued “fringing” and took part of “Bed – a Fever Dream” with the Performance Gallery last year. Now, Daniela is ecstatic to co-own Solasta Theatre Lab (https://www.facebook.com/solastatheatrelab/ ) with her amazing partner in crime, Erin Carr; curious to see what that would lead to!
